Overview
The Sign Out page in Credenza lets you log out of your account. It helps keep your account secure by ensuring no one else can access it after you finish your session. You can find the Sign Out option in the sidebar menu of the main interface.
Displaying Sign Out Page programmatically
To display the Sign Out page programmatically in Credenza, you can use the passport.openUI function. This function allows you to navigate to different pages within the application using code.
To open the Sign Out page, use the following code snippet:
passport.openUI(Passport.pages.LOGOUT);
The passport.openUI function takes a parameter specifying the page to navigate to. In this case, Passport.pages.LOGOUT is used to specify the Sign Out page.
Initiate Sign Out
Access Sidebar Menu
First, expand the sidebar menu from the main interface. To do this, locate the menu icon in the upper left corner of the screen and click it. The sidebar will display various options such as Sign Out, Show ID, PassScan, Wallet, and My Account.
Scroll through the sidebar until you find the Sign Out option. This option is typically positioned alongside other primary menu items like Credenza Passport. Select the Sign Out option to proceed with the sign-out process.
After selecting Sign Out from the sidebar menu, a confirmation modal will appear. This modal will contain a Sign Out Now button to confirm the action and a Close icon to dismiss the modal if you wish to cancel the sign-out.
To finalize signing out, click the Sign Out Now button in the confirmation modal. The sign-out process will be completed, and you will be logged out of Credenza.

From the sidebar menu, locate and click the Sign Out option. This will trigger the sign-out confirmation modal.
In the confirmation modal, confirm your choice by clicking the Sign Out Now button.

Interact with Confirmation Modal
Once you select Sign Out from the sidebar menu, the confirmation modal appears. Here, you have two options: proceed with the sign out by clicking Sign Out Now or close the modal using the Close icon.
Proceed with Sign Out
In the sign-out confirmation modal, click the Sign Out Now button to complete the process. Ensure you have saved any necessary work before proceeding.
